DEW Haven | Maine Zoo & Rescue offers internship programs for students or recent graduates from animal related fields of study; as well as, anyone interested in pursuing a career working with animals.

Our main internship program is our summer internship and runs from the beginning of May through the end of August (but can be flexible to your college schedule).

We now also offer fall/winter internships as well. We typically hire 5-8 students for the summer program and 1-2 graduates for our fall/winter program.

Our internships require working 5 days a week, include a weekly stipend, and housing with free utilities (e.g., laundry/internet).
